How FieldOS handles your data

This policy explains what information FieldOS collects, why it is used, and how users can contact us about their data.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Information We Collect

FieldOS collects account information such as names, email addresses, passwords handled by our authentication provider, employer business names, worker invite details, task details, job status updates, rejection reasons, notifications, and chat messages created inside the app.

We may also collect basic technical information needed to keep users signed in, protect accounts, troubleshoot errors, and operate the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, connect employers with workers, assign and track jobs, deliver messages and notifications, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Data Storage and Service Providers

FieldOS uses Supabase for authentication, database, and related backend services. Data may be processed by Supabase and other infrastructure providers only as needed to run the app.

Sharing

We do not sell user data. Employers and workers can see the information needed for their shared workspace, such as assigned tasks, accepted workers, rejection reasons, and related messages.

Cookies and Local Storage

FieldOS uses browser storage to remember signed-in users and keep sessions active. Users can clear browser data or sign out to remove the local session from a device.

Retention and Deletion

We keep account and workspace information while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and meet legal obligations. Users can request help with account or data deletion by contacting us.

Security

FieldOS uses authentication, role-based access, database security rules, and session controls to help keep employer and worker accounts separate. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so users should keep passwords private and report suspicious activity.
